Meet Wil

Muscogee (Creek) Nation National Council Okmulgee District Candidate

My name is William “Wil” Lowe, and I am a running Seat A in the Muscogee (Creek) National Council, Okmulgee District. My Clan is the Bird Clan, and my tribal town is Nuyaka. Growing up I attended and was baptized at Tuskegee Indian Baptist Church in Eufaula, OK.

My parents are May Marshall of Eufaula, OK and the late Jonas “Rusty” Lowe of Tulsa, OK. My wife, Elsa Lowe, and I have three beautiful daughters, ages 21, 13, and 7. I grew up in Eufaula, OK, and am a proud alumnus of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Boarding School.

After honorably serving in the US Marine Corps from September 1993 to May 2002, I utilized my GI Bill to earn an Associates and Bachelor’s degree from Bacone College, and recently completed my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Grand Canyon University.

With over 20 years of experience in governance, management, tribal business development, and negotiating tribal contracts, I have worked and partnered with several cities and tribal governments across the state. My involvement in working with tribal entities has taught me the importance of being a sovereign nation and advocating for all Mvskoke citizens. Most importantly, I will push for continued fiscal responsibility, economic development, care for our elderly, and to champion the education of our youth.

I ask you for your support so that I may serve as an advocate and resource for all Muscogee (Creek) Citizens, Mvto.
