Experience...

Management: Served as the Development, Public Relations, and Tourism Director at the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, OK. Served as the Tourism & Recreation Director and CEO of the Fountainhead Golf Course at the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Tribal Business: I have both domestic and international experience in Tribal business development. During my time as the Tourism Director for the Cherokee Heritage Center and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, I had the opportunity to travel to Europe to work with many European Travel Planners assisting them in developing their travel itineraries when visiting Oklahoma. As an advocate for trade schools, I served the Business Development Director for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe’s trade school N2N. I visited every tribal government in Oklahoma, educating their tribal citizens on the importance and effectiveness of N2N.

Governance: I have served on many boards of directors during my professional experience, all of which are volunteer. My service on these boards has educated me and given me the organizational expertise such as financial leadership, business modeling and remodeling, corporate culture creation, financial turnarounds and profit optimization, and technology modernizations (digital, social, and artificial intelligence).

Civic and Community Service: As a servant leader, I feel that getting involved with the community is very important. I dedicate my time, energy, skills, and knowledge to address issues, improve communities, and positively impact individuals and organizations. I contribute to my community by serving on the boards of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce, the Five Civilized Tribes Museum, ass the Vice President of the Okmulgee Lions Club and the Okmulgee County YMCA board of directors.
